Are you feeling overcome with stress, anxiety and depressive feelings? Do you find yourself suffering from negative self-talk that contributes to a lack of self-esteem and confidence? Are you lonely, even with people all around you? Do you long to connect with meaningful relationships? Do you find yourself looking for escapes with addictive processes? If this sounds like you, I would love to help you connect to your authentic self by overcoming the negative lens that has been built throughout your life by what others have said, feelings of disapproval, traumatic experiences, societal and cultural conditioning.
Our experiences and inner dialogue can leave us feeling incomplete and shape our critical narrative about ourselves. Therefore, together, we will focus on understanding how you view yourself, others and the world. You will learn how to view your situation differently, gain new tools to decrease undesirable symptoms and work towards your therapeutic goals.
I work from a humanistic approach that is trauma-informed. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, compassionate environment to work through your difficulties. I know coming to counselling is difficult; that's why you direct the pace and direction of our sessions. I offer many scheduling options, including some evenings.
