Hi! I’m Brittany. I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor born and raised in Saskatchewan. My main approach is person-centered (i.e., focused on relationship building and flexible to clients’ needs); my first concern is creating a therapeutic space in which you will feel truly safe, understood, and accepted.
You’ll be a great fit if you like to laugh, or if you are an animal lover, bookworm, artist, or sports fan! I strive to provide a supportive, validating, low-pressure environment in which you can take charge of your healing.

I have received training in EMDR, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and have previously worked in medical/psychiatric clinics, university clinics, correctional centres, and as a domestic violence and sexual abuse specialist. I am a Certified Clinical Services Provider for ADHD.
Starting therapy (or restarting) can be scary. I strive to offer a low-pressure environment in which you can explore your authentic self and take charge of your healing. My philosophy is that you are the expert on yourself and it is my role to use my psychological expertise to help you wield your strength and make the best choices for you.

Self-Care Sundays

It can be difficult to schedule self-care time regularly or follow through with self-care activities which can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and others. Join us for 1 hour of gentle yin yoga, 1 hour of group therapy and a different 30 minute self-care activity each week. Sundays, May 7, 14, 21 from 12-2:30. This is a drop-in style group which means participants don’t have to attend every session. This group is available to adults of all genders and will be facilitated by Brittany Doncaster M.A. CCC. Cost: $125/session
