Hello! I have 10 years of counselling experience working with people who have struggled with addictions and various mental health concerns.I now specialize in working with individuals that struggle with anxiety, addiction issues (substance & behavioral), innerchild wounds, work/academic stress, or grief/loss.My hope is to create a caring, judgment-free space where you can feel seen and heard.I truly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and will make that my ultimate goal each session. It is important that you feel empowered leaving each session with insight and skills to tackle problems outside of our work together.
I offer a personalized approach to therapy, including walk-and-talk sessions in the warmer months. I am trauma-informed and hold certification in EMDR trauma therapy, Circle of Security (attachment), and have been trained in CBT and attachment fundamentals. I use a flexible approach, drawing on different tools to fit your needs.
In my spare time, I act as a mother of 2 (very busy) children and 3 fur babies (including a new kitten). I love to be outdoors or on some sort of adventure. My hope is to meet you where you are at and either work towards your therapeutic goals or those chaotic moments that (randomly, but consistently) pop up in life. I look forward to meeting with you!
