I have been working in the Social Work field since 2010.
For the first 2 years, I assisted those who struggled with their mental health.
From 2012 until early 2019, I specialized in addictions of both youth and adults.
Lastly, since 2016, I have provided private counselling, supporting a variety of ages and presenting concerns.
Issues may range from anxiety, as the most prominent, to grief, couples, bullying and more.
Social Workers are trained with various techniques in order to relieve their clients of whichever burden they may be carrying. It is my passion to listen and help develop a plan to move forward in your life.
Due to the combination of my college diploma and university degree, I can assist a wide range of people.
I have two small children and two adult step children which helps me relate to those in similar situations.
Lastly, I have dealt with my own mental health struggles over the years and therefore may be able to understand what difficulties that brings.
