I am a registered social worker with over 30 years of experience assisting adults, adolescents and children with a wide variety of social, emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties. Starting from where each person is in his/her life, and building on each person's unique strengths and resources, I strive to assist people in working toward their goals as quickly and meaningfully as possible,
I have extensive experience in child, adolescent and family therapy, As well, many people come to see me to learn how to cope more effectively with the stresses of significant life changes and transitions, as well as the challenges of day-to-day life. I am also certified as a forest therapy guide with the Global Institute of Forest Therapy.
My interest and experience in mindfulness and meditation practice extends back 30+ years. In addition to my direct practice, I taught clinical social work skills and interventions at the University of Toronto Faculty of Social Work for 15 years.
