This program incorporates a holistic approach to well-being - utilizing intentional breathing strategies, cognitive reframing self-authoring tools, as well as acceptance and integration of the parts of the self one would rather not address -aka – ‘the shadow’. By examining these aspects of the self and developing these tools, I help you cultivate a practice that works to achieve greater self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-actualization.
By harnessing the power of breath, one can not only develop a better and more mindful relationship with the present moment, but also utilize the ability to activate or relax the body and mind.
By examining beliefs, we work to have more self-authorship over the stories you tell yourself about your worth, what is important, true and of value.
By addressing rather than repressing the ‘shadowy’ aspects of the self like guilt, rage, self-worth etc.., we work to normalize and integrate these aspects of the self so that they don’t overwhelm the psyche.
This program focuses heavily on ‘after therapy’, working to create a sustaining practice that one can engage in in a daily and regular way to make sure that you are living your life in a mindful, responsive way, rather than a mindless and reactive one. Each session comprises of all 3 parts: 20min of breath-work, 20min of cognitive-work, 20min of shadow-work.
