About
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist (Candidate Register), and have completed a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) with Honours in Psychology (Acadia University), as well as a Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology (Adler University). I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, community agencies, and hospitals. This diversity in population and work setting has allowed me to gain confidence in providing services to children, youth, parents, and individual adults.
I use an integrative and supportive approach in my work, primarily using an attachment-based perspective to conceptualize an individual’s concerns. I am continually learning and growing from my clients, and believe in using a client-centered, culturally sensitive approach to form strong connections and relationships.
By acknowledging the system an individual exists in and bearing witness to their difficulties, I aim to lend insight and guidance to sustained personal growth.
