I am a passionate registered Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with individuals and families in various capacities. People are able to continuously grow and heal when they are given the opportunities and conditions to build healthy relationships that provide space for trust, affirmation, and support through challenging situations in life. The crux of a healthy therapeutic relationship is trust and transparency and I have dedicated my life to offering this space. I utilize space and time to build a trusting relationship, and I commit to transparency as a vehicle to building trust.
I specialize in supporting Black individuals and families as they work through the complexities of mental and emotional wellness. My goal is to offer therapy in a way that honours and centres Black cultures and narratives.
I understand that therapy can feel very daunting, and anxiety riding, but I promise to make it a smooth transition. Trust takes time to build and I understand that, so I work with clients at their pace to build a trusting relationship. On top of that, I show up as I am, and want you to do the same!
