My goal as a therapist is to help you to gain a greater understanding of yourself. This includes an awareness about the underlying reasons for why you think, feel, and act in the way you do. From a place of clarity, we often feel better able to make healthy and conscious choices, as opposed to operating out of habit or programming. I work with clients to address unresolved traumas, which can be large or small. These traumas can, even years later, continue to impact us in ways we are not fully aware of. With couples, I specialize in infidelity and communication difficulties.
I tend to be an active therapist, meaning I ask questions and offer my perspective on what I notice in sessions. However, it is not my place to tell you what to do. I understand that engaging in therapy can be challenging at times. My job is to guide and support you through a healing process.
