I provide an open, safe space for exploring feelings and meaning, coping with challenges, honouring uniqueness, recognizing strengths, and generating new understandings of the problems that come to define our lives. I support individuals with challenges involving mood, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, relationships, grief, and life transitions (please see full list at right).
I also support individuals seeking help with mental health and coping related to issues such as: making the decision to have a baby; pregnancy and childbirth; the postpartum period; welcoming an adopted baby or child; pregnancy loss; challenges in conceiving and IVF; couple, family and sibling adjustment; and parenting.
I use a client-focused therapeutic stance, where my aim is to be a co-facilitator of change. In our work, I may draw from the approaches of collaborative, narrative and mindfulness-based therapies.
