Let's find perspective on what your challenges are. Is it past abuse, family crisis or just a need to be heard and validated regarding your challenges to date? Chances are good that once you are able to articulate and decide what adjustments you like to try, I can be there to guide and to witness your decisions and chooses. I have found that a client based approach is most powerful and satisfying, even if you are only able to deal with a short term goal, that is absolutely sufficient. Just like an athlete setting a goal, you too can create new successes. Building the base can help prepare you for longer termed goals.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario since 2015. I will introduce you to Narrative and Expressive Art therapies that focus on the treatment of trauma, stress and other challenges, a successful combination to use along (TIR) Traumatic Incident Reduction Facilitator and (LSR) Life Stress reduction.
Everyone has a story worth telling and holding and eventually letting go by sharing it or manifesting it into a tangible piece of art or story. As a nationally recognized children's book illustrator and writer, I'll encourage you to create for yourself your story or to illustrate how your life experience has been impactful on you.
