Opening on May 4, 2026, Bolster Counselling Services is accepting new clients. Bolster is a trauma-informed counselling practice for children (6+), mothers, and families. Bolster is grounded in nervous system science, developmental psychology, and relational safety. Regulation is prioritized before reflection and capacity. From this foundation, clients build emotional understanding and capacity, strengthen regulation skills, and support the developmental growth of self and relationships. We do not rush. We do not overwhelm. We move together.
Christina is Bolster's counsellor and founder, an Acadia University graduate and single mother. She helps clients understand how the past can interfere with the present, moving at your pace to build agency and self-trust. Christina offers 50-minute sessions for children, and 50 or 80-minute sessions for adult individuals, parents, and families.
