I have over 20 years of experience in the field of social work and over 15 years of experience in community mental health and addictions treatment and private practice. I specialize in the treatment of shock and developmental trauma and have been trained in cognitive and somatically-oriented therapeutic modalities. I work with individuals experiencing interpersonal challenges, grief, chronic pain, trauma, and life-stress. I operate out of Whitehorse and offer remote services in BC, Alberta, Ontario and Nunavut.
Therapy can be about re-discovering and re-connecting with those parts of ourselves that are alive and filled with wonder. When we hold ourselves as intelligent and intentional beings rather than problems to be fixed, our relationship with ourselves starts to change.
