I am passionate about supporting children and families in discovering how to be their best through building relationships, building understanding, and building skills. I strive to empower others so that they can continue to manage life’s challenges beyond their work with me. I understand that when parents are seeking services, they are concerned about their child/adolescent and are seeking guidance through respect. Discovery Psychological Services offers a process of discovery of strengths, needs, skills, and strategies, in a manner that is meaningful, respectful, compassionate, and collaborative.
I offer psycho-educational assessments for children and youth to best understand the areas of strengths and need and provide recommendations tailored to this information with experience drawn from my experience and training as a psychologist, but also a teacher. I also offer individual and family intervention for a variety of needs.
I want families and children to feel positive and empowered when leaving a session with an increased understanding of themselves and strategies that feel like a fit for them.
