Seeking assistance with our psychological and social health is something we can all benefit from, but it often takes a great deal of strength, faith, and courage to seek it out. My goal as a Counsellor is to help you along your path to wellness that you have already started to take.
I have a MSW degree from the University of Toronto and have been practicing as a Social Worker and Counsellor for 20 years, working with age groups from young children through to older adults.
In my practice I've had the opportunity to work with clients facing a broad range of issues.
Such as the loss of loved ones (young and old), anxiety & its everyday impact on life, life changes due to illness & loss of independence, and substance & behavioural addictions. I have also worked with intimate couples who are seeking to communicate and fulfill each other’s needs in a manner that better reflects their underlying love for each other.
Utilizing varied and adaptable theories and strategies, my goal is to help you narrow down and get to the root of what is causing you pain or distress. We will work together in identifying and implementing ways toward healing, control, contentment, and fulfillment.
