Nice to meet you! My name is Bianca Taylor, and I am a student therapist interested in treating individuals with mood disorders (like anxiety and depression) in addition to trauma-based concerns. My deeper passions lie in assisting young adults who identify as part of the 2SLGBTQiA+ community. Queer joy is very important to me, and I am committed to demonstrating pride within my sessions and throughout the greater community. I also value humour as a way of overcoming adversity. No treatment is one-size-fits-all; my approach is tailored to my client’s lived experience to promote safety and best address our therapeutic goals.
I possess 2.5 years of front-line experience caring for intellectually disabled populations. As a bisexual woman raised Roman Catholic, I also have experience with the struggles of identity reconciliation. I understand that facets of identity intersect in unique ways. I want to reassure you that the way you are is exactly the way you are meant to be.
