About
I have over 20 years experience, and extensive training specializing in therapy with couples and individuals whose relationships have become places of fear, insecurity, and loneliness, where bonds of emotional safety, trust and intimacy have gradually eroded.
I offer distressed couples a short-term, emotionally focused approach (EFT) that's scientifically proven and highly successful in creating greater closeness, a way back to the heart of your relationship. When the connection that you'd hoped to depend on forever seems lost, replaced by distance and confusion, I can help you rekindle intimacy and compassion, a secure bond you can depend on even in hard times.
Working with you as an individual, I can help in the areas of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, anger, grief, and emotional or relational challenges with important others. As an attachment-based therapist, I strongly believe that the quality of our relationships is central to the quality of our lives.
You need a warm, supportive and non-judgemental presence to take this step, risk change. I'll be there with you, working together towards closer, more emotionally connected relationships.
Daytime and evening appointments available. My services are covered by many extended health plans.
