Sex addiction turns the life of the addict and family upside down. The group therapy - considered to be the most effective and successful form of treatment for all addictive disorders - will focus on learning to recognize & manage the consequences of sexual compulsion, completing the basic tasks necessary for successful recovery and healing, developing specific skills in order to avoid triggers and reduce shame, and implementing a healthy sexual recovery plan. In addition to the therapeutic benefits of group therapy, this type of therapy also offers clients a more affordable alternative than weekly individual counselling.
