I have particular expertise treating PTSD. I have experience working with individuals who have experienced military-, sexual-, as well as accident-related trauma. If you have lived through a distressing experience, you may be haunted by certain memories and reactive to certain reminders. It is possible to move forward and gain a sense of peace.
I emphasize providing a safe and confidential setting, a collaborative and non-judgmental atmosphere, and only the best scientifically-proven approaches. In particular, I utilize Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I offer afternoon and evening appointments.
