I am a Registered Psychologist with over 21 years experience in working primarily with adult clients going through issues, loss or transition. I am a compassionate professional skilled in therapy and helping clients make progress in resolving problem areas. Areas of specialization are eating disorders, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, trauma, and faith issues. I work with clients as they deal with transitions, loss/grief and making positive changes which bring empowerment, hope and healing. My clients like the fact that I want to see them experience improvements/progress in their lives as quickly as possible. See freshhope.ca

I have worked inpatient as an eating disorder's therapist and several years outpatient. I have helped numerous clients recover fully from anorexia, bulimia, EDNOS and binge eating. I also work clients with a Christian faith perspective and those with trauma/PTSD. Advanced studies include EMDR, Certificate in Pain Management, Trauma, and Anxiety Treatment.

I would consider it a privilege to help you work through your struggles. Sessions available through video conferencing or by telephone if you prefer the comfort/security of 'meeting' in your own home. This way I can work with clients throughout Alberta who might not be able to come in to Edmonton or have challenges that prevent them from venturing out.

Heidi is an excellent therapist! I have gotten to know Heidi over the past couple of years and actively referred many clients to her. They have been very happy with her and made comments back to me about how glad they were to connect with Heidi. They have reported a great connection with Heidi (finding her personable and caring), effective treatment and have found her counselling to be very helpful.

Cathy Murray is a gifted and highly skilled therapist who I have know since 2003. She connects well with her clients and is very invested in doing her best to help clients work through their issues. I have done groups with Cathy and also sent many people her way -- so much so that we asked her to join Fresh Hope Counselling a few years ago! Cathy's clients rave about how helpful they have found her counselling to be and they are quick to refer her to their friends. She is professional, experienced and exceptional therapist who is gifted at what she does.
