I believe that every client is unique and therapy therefore is not "one size fits all". This means that I am an eclectic therapist, that draws upon several evidence-based approaches to help my clients meet their unique needs. I particularly enjoy working with approaches such as Acceptance & Commitment, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive-Behavioural, Attachment-based, and Narrative approaches. I specialize in treating clients who may be struggling with persistent, intrusive "sticky" thoughts as commonly associated with OCD and anxiety through Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) and mindfulness approaches.
I believe in the utmost importance of providing a safe, accepting therapeutic space, based upon the principles of empathy and respect. My clients would describe me as non-judgemental, down to earth, and genuine. I believe clients are the experts of their lives and collaboratively we can work together to achieve your goals.
I am deeply passionate in my commitment to embark on this journey of healing and growth alongside my clients. I recognize the courage that it takes to reach out and start your therapeutic journey. I am happy to speak with you via phone call to determine if I am a good fit for what you are seeking.
