As a Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years experience, I provide a caring and compassionate approach. My work is shaped by sound scientific findings. In essence, I offer a service that uniquely blends science with a warm personable approach. Extensive experience and expertise in working with adults, adolescents, children and families allows me to appreciate each individual's concerns, collaboratively work out therapeutic goals so that the person can lead a more fulfilling life. Progress is tracked and shared with each individual client using "before" and "after" result measures.
Within a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Systemic framework, clients engage in a collaborative assessment in order to map out the story of their concerns and define individually-tailored therapy goals. My flexible approach facilitates and promotes active engagement in the process of change and achievement of positive results.
I was awarded a PhD in Psychology at Queens University, Belfast, ranked within the top 1% of global universities. In my career, I worked at the Health Service Executive prior to establishing a successful private practice in Dublin, Ireland. Recently, I have worked at the Toronto Catholic District School Board.
