My name is Lise Bélanger, I'm a counsellor and psychotherapist at Bélanger Counselling Services. I work with individuals from ages 16 to the elderly. If you're feeling stressed, experiencing emotional distress or having difficulty with everyday life challenges, you may benefit from consulting with a counsellor. I offer therapy to deal with a wide variety of personal and career issues. I believe that forming a therapeutic alliance is one of the most important aspects of therapy. I have a wealth of personal life experience and over 15 years of work experience in the mental health field.
My areas of specialty are: working with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief/loss, low self-esteem, ADHD, stress and anger management, PTSD, addictions and OCD. I offer short-term counselling, as well as long term counselling to deal with issues of abuse and trauma.
I'm a bilingual counsellor and a certified member with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I really enjoy meeting people and offering them a safe place to explore their options and supporting them on their journey of life.
