My practice is entitled 'Awareness: The First Step to Healthy Living' because I believe that if you are aware of your strengths, limitations, and everything in between, this insight can lead to a happier existence. I will help you explore your self identity, and eradicate negative patterns in your life or stuck points, by offering skills that you will take away with you. I will implement different approaches to therapy, depending on where you are in your therapeutic journey, giving you a rich experience of challenges with warmth, understanding, patience, humor, and a smile.
My specialty is Couples Counselling using the Developmental Model, which focuses on stages of development and growth as a couple, as well as a focus on the inner life of the individual. I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which offers ways of coping with emotional dysregulation, distress, and, ineffective behaviors.
In couples and individual therapy, I work in collaboration with you, at your pace in identifying stuck points, and assisting you to move forward in life. In connecting mind and body, you will be able to work through traumatic events that my have impacted your well being.

Groups
Virtual Divorce/Separation Support Group
Divorce/separation is one of the most difficult transitions in life. The separation/divorce groups will take place virtually, including 6-8 individuals. The Women's Support Group will take place very Monday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, and the Men's Support Group, will take place every Tuesday from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. The cost is $70.00 per group. The goal is to help participants feel empowered, and to gain validation and support from the group. To register, please email me on this site, and I will get back to you.
