6 Month DBT Skills Group (Online) & LGBTQ+ Group
WHO: Adults 18+*. DBT is an ideal form of therapy for people with intense emotions, difficulty with stress & maintaining relationships, and/or engaging in any kind of self destructive behaviour (lashing out, yelling, reckless driving, substance use, shutting down, etc.). Could include diagnosis of BPD, PTSD, C-PTSD, addictions, depression, and/or anxiety. WHEN: Tuesdays 7-8:30pm & Wednesdays LGBTQ+ group 12:30-2:00pm. STARTING: We offer rolling admission, meaning you can join the group at any time. Once you join, you should plan on attending for 7 months. WHERE: Online on Zoom. An experiential group space for trans and nonbinary folx to come together and be seen, heard, and witnessed by others in our shared humanness. A Process Group is a confidential, co-created space where folks can connect, share, and support each other. It’s a place to feel seen, heard, and understood in your humanity. Being witnessed by others in a safe and caring space can be deeply healing, easing feelings of isolation and emotional pain. The group will also explore how we relate to one another, offering insights into our experiences in other parts of life.
