I welcome clients who experience psychosocial challenges, trauma, sexual abuse, PTSD, addictions, chronic pain and disability. I believe that the key to happiness begins with embracing challenges, accepting what is and building resources that help us move towards a value-driven direction. My approach draws from several therapeutic models, including Intensive Short-Term Dynamic therapy (ISTDP), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
With a foundation in physical rehabilitation and a deep passion for psychology, I integrate evidence-based and experiential approaches to help clients heal, grow, and thrive after trauma. My clinical work focuses on rehabilitation, post-traumatic growth, chronic pain, and the mind-body connection, serving first responders, MVA, WSIB and disability.
I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Intensive Short Term Dynamic Therapy (ISTDP). I tailor each approach using a non-judgmental stance, empowerment, and a collaborative methodology focused on the client’s needs.
