I work with individuals, parents, youth and couples, guiding them through life's challenges. Together, we will build your resilience and overcome these challenges. Some of the issues I work on include communication, conflict resolution, and parenting challenges. If you are a parent struggling with your child's behaviour, feeling overwhelmed, or want to develop a stronger connection with your child(ren), I can help. If you are facing challenges in your relationship, I can work with you to rebuild love and deepen intimacy. I also work with women to address the challenges of motherhood, career shifts, and relationship difficulties.

My private practice specialises in supporting adults, and youth aged 16+. The people I work with may be seeking help to address a variety of issues, such as anxiety and depression, emotional dysregulation, challenges in relationships, personality disorders, and trauma. Such issues can immensely impact our lives and evoke serious concerns about personal meaning. Our experiences can shape how we make sense of ourselves, how we see our lives going, and how we establish meaningful connections to others.

Do you struggle with understanding your behaviours or feelings? Feel misunderstood at work or home? Stuck in a rut? Maybe you are tired, disconnected, hopeless, or uncertain of where to go next by the pull of your commitments and responsibilites? Perhaps there is a bigger more meaningful way to experience life? Now more than ever, people are feeling overwhelmed and overcome by the struggle to deepen their relationships, reduce stress and shift away from stagnating trauma. Moving from a dull, uninspired state into a positive, hopeful, even fun future does not have to be a painstaking experience.

If you find yourself asking "now what?" or feeling stuck in the midst of big life transitions, relationship challenges, or your own personal journey of growth, I would love to connect. Whether you have yet to build a tool kit of effective coping mechanisms or you have a great set of tools that isn't working for you right now, life often throws things at us that require a new way of working through or coping with challenges. Sometimes this means we need extra help discovering those tools. I like to help make overwhelming problems feel a little bit more manageable.

Currently accepting new clients. I am inspired by the resiliency that can be found in people from all walks of life, and in every corner of the globe. I believe there is strength to be found in everyone, sometimes it just takes a nurturing hand, an understanding ear, and an open heart to create opportunity for individuals to find what is innately within themselves.

I believe in an individualized, caring and respectful approach when working with clients to become more resilient and effective in their lives. Many people believe that the skills and motivation needed to maneuver all of life’s obstacles are automatically within all of us. But many of us learn ineffective ways of communicating, develop unhealthy patterns or find ourselves stuck with no idea of how to move forward. Having a dedicated time to examine patterns, build skills and develop a deeper understanding of ones’ strengths can help build a greater sense of wellness and clarity in our lives.

Do you live with sensory sensitivity, a mood disorder, or a developmental or physical disability? Have your diverse needs caused significant changes or loss related to your health, spirituality, work, status, hobbies, or social life? In the most challenging of times, it’s easy to lose touch with your sense of self, safety, and hope; it can be hard to see where you have choice. But what if you could lighten the burden you carry — a little at a time — creating more space in your life for the things that nourish you? What if you gained more clarity around the choices you can make to start building a new life experience?

Stuck. Alone. Overwhelmed. Those are the words clients often connect with. Perhaps you have tried everything you can think of to change things. Maybe you've tried everything your friends and family can think of too. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, meaninglessness, or something unique to you, I look forward to being with you in the healing process.

In Sanskrit, the human condition is known as "PurashArth" translated as the meaning of existence. That is we all want to be happy, we work towards being happy, and we seek eternal happiness. In my practice and personal lived experience, I have observed that we all have a desire to be 'seen', and 'heard', this is how we feel included. When these three are missing, we become stuck here and do not know how to step out into our true Self. I strongly believe that once we make that choice to seek our true Self, together the therapist and client evolve toward their goals. To find that peace and joy that is not in the far distance but here.
