I work with life transitions, anxiety/nervous system dysregulation, identity or career shifts, spiritual disconnection, and compassion fatigue, with a focus on women’s empowerment & spirituality.
I strive to make therapy like a sanctuary—safe enough to drop the masks, so the hidden parts of you can be seen and heard, maybe for the first time. My approach is nervous-system-informed, intersectional feminist, and non-pathologizing. Grounded in neuroplasticity, I believe the brain & nervous system are built to heal, it just requires continued attunement.

Do you feel like your sensitivity is "too much," or your creativity is misunderstood?
Is your nervous system "on edge," trying to survive in a fast-paced, achievement-driven world?
Do you struggle to be fully seen?
I work with people who are deeply creative, sensitive, and beginning to awaken to their own inner voice. At the same time, they may struggle to stay connected to themselves in a demanding, high-pressure environment. Overwhelmed by the demands of work and relationships, it can become difficult to trust their own inner voice.

Not all challenges respond to standard interventions. I work with a broad range of clients, amongst them those whose fast or layered thought processes, heightened sensitivity, or visionary orientation can place them out of step with conventional models. This includes professionals in high-responsibility roles balancing visible leadership with private complexity, as well as reflective individuals seeking a path that honours their actual experience.

Men need better mental health support. The weight of responsibility and lack of support can cause men to tough it out, leading to internal struggles and unaddressed mental health issues. At The Stigman Group we address head-on the stigma surrounding men's mental health - for men, by men. We believe that strong, capable men are essential for a thriving society. By providing tailored support and empowering men to prioritize their mental well-being, we aim to help them reclaim their manhood with resilience, authenticity, and strength. It's time to break the stigma.

I work at the crossroads of culture, mental health, and social-economic integration. My counselling is for people who want to belong while staying true to themselves – especially racialized first and second-generation Canadians who may feel torn between worlds.
Our background is not a footnote in our lives; it shapes our strengths and struggles, and how and where we find home. With years of learning and teaching language, religion and culture, and lived experience across the Arab world, South and Southeast Asia, and Canada, I help clients identify tools as well as traps in their heritage and discover their authentic selves.

Do you feel stuck in patterns that are hard to change, even though part of you knows something needs to shift? You may feel anxious, overwhelmed, shutdown, or caught in cycles of self-doubt, people-pleasing, or relationship struggles. At times, this can show up as feeling not good enough, too much, unlovable, or alone. You may find yourself overthinking, overexplaining, overgiving, struggling to communicate, to set boundaries, and feeling disconnected from others and yourself. These patterns often have deeper roots in early life experiences, relational wounds, or ways your nervous system learned to cope and protect you.

I specialize in spirituality, inner child healing, intergenerational trauma, and soul purpose — helping you trust yourself, build your intuition, and make meaning of your life.
You are done with therapy that stops at the surface. You are seeking a spiritual therapist who understands that real healing lives in the Soul. You work with astrology, numerology, tarot, and crystals as sacred tools for self-understanding. You carry ancestral wounds, intergenerational trauma, and inner child pain ready to heal. You feel the weight of isolation — too awake, too sensitive, too deep for the world around you. In our work together we integrate spiritual wisdom with clinical therapy, following the thread of synchronicity, dream interpretation, and divine guidance back to your truth.

Are you holding it together on the outside but on the inside it feels VERY different? Do you feel gripped by anxiety, self-doubt, anger, fear, or numbness? Having thoughts that you are not enough, or too much, or that you should be perfect? There is a reason this is happening. I believe change happens through compassionate accompaniment in intentionally held spaces that allow us to explore and integrate parts of ourselves that are causing inner tensions. Through an accepting and supportive environment therapy helps to regulate emotion and promote lasting change.

What should I expect from therapy that incorporates a focus on spirituality?
Spirituality can mean different things to different individuals, depending on their experiences, beliefs, and life histories. Some individuals focus on strengthening their belief system, while others experience spirituality in secular ways, such as through meditation, yoga, or by spending time in nature. Clients can expect a therapist to help guide and grow their spirituality through any of these techniques, encouraging the individual to cope with the challenges they face and develop strategies to build resilience and purpose to improve their outlook in life.
What are the most common treatments that include spirituality?
There are several treatments that incorporate spirituality. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) helps a person examine and reframe their negative thoughts and behaviours. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) focuses on emotional acceptance and psychological flexibility. Existential therapy is most often used to address anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, apathy, despair, questions of identity, and feelings of purposelessness and existential dread. Transpersonal therapy focuses on a client’s spirituality and meaning in life and may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualisation, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork.
Can therapy incorporating spirituality help atheistic or agnostic individuals?
Yes. For non-believers, spirituality can offer benefits including a greater sense of connection to others and to the natural world. An interest in spirituality may also spur individuals to pursue mindfulness practices, or to contemplate their purpose in life and how to achieve it.
How effective is spirituality as a therapeutic remedy?
Research suggests spirituality is generally beneficial for individuals. It is correlated with better health habits, such as less substance use, and an improved capacity to cope with stress and other mental health challenges. Increased spirituality can lead individuals to become more empathic and less materialistic, as well.
