I draw in theories such as existentialism, mindfulness, psychodynamic, narrative therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and solution focused approaches to name a few, while tailoring to the needs of each of my clients.
I am a strong believer that everyone deserves to live with happiness and purpose, and enjoy supporting my clients to discover what it means to them to live a fulfilled life. Together, we can work on healthy relationships and boundary setting, self-exploration and meaning. Offering patience, kindness and empathy to all of my clients, my practice is rooted in creating a space that is non-judgmental, anti-oppressive, warm, and supportive where you feel comfortable exploring and expressing yourself freely. I bring a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support and the resilience people carry within them.

Being in the nexus of something means you are right in the middle of it hence, easy to feel overwhelmed by the multitude of things coming at you. At Nexus, I will work with you within the context of a nonjudgmental, collaborative and healing therapeutic relationship to parse out and clearly see the interwoven links and connections that contribute to how you experience, perceive and interpret life's challenges, difficulties and obstacles. By understanding these connections, we can separate what is important to you and focus on your goal(s) to improve your mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Hi, I'm new here (I mean, I'm 40-something, but you know what I meant, right? RIGHT). So: If you thrive on homework and are looking for answers, I'm probably not a good fit! BUT: if you want to explore what it means to live authentically and find meaningful things to do in your journey, that sounds like my jam and we should definitely talk!

Welcome! If you’ve found yourself here, you may be sensing that something within you is ready for attention—ready to be seen, understood, or gently explored. You might be seeking more clarity around your behaviours, emotions, or relationships, and are open to exploring these aspects in a deeper, more reflective way. Perhaps you’re eager to uncover patterns that no longer serve you, understand the root of your challenges, and gain insight into your personal journey. This is a space where that kind of work is not only possible—but deeply supported.

My ideal client is open-minded, creative, and seeks to explore themselves in a deep, meaningful way. They may struggle with boundaries and hyperactivity, and are looking for support in their relationship with desire and intimacy. Sex-positive and spiritually inclined, they appreciate a holistic approach to healing. I attract clients who are ready to sit with the darker parts of themselves and want a therapist who is compassionate, playful, and focused on long-term relational goals. They value a safe, non-judgmental space to explore their identities, desires, and relationships.

DREAMS are a creative way to work with the unconscious; to be creative means to bring something into being, and the unconscious is a source for that new being. We are not just what we know of ourselves. Our suffering has meaning and if we are struggling or in crisis this can be the catalyst for change. Carl Jung (1875-1961), tells us that "certain types of pain...are symbolically meaningful. This is one way the unconscious expresses itself." Our psyche is a part of nature and dreams come from that nature to speak to us in a metaphoric language.

Do you and your partner have the same fight over and over again? You love each other, but you can’t find a way out of this cycle. Even though you both want to make it work, you can’t seem to get through to each other, and every time you have the fight, your relationship feels a little bit more damaged. Resentment is starting to build, and the distance between you and your partner is growing, and the tension has started to impact your quality of life. You want to figure out how to have constructive conflict and rebuild intimacy, but you’re not sure where to turn. And more than anything, you want to feel heard.

You may be feeling stuck in patterns shaped by past experiences, anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, or unresolved family dynamics. Many of my clients are children of immigrants or emotionally immature parents, working to understand their attachment wounds for individuals or couples. Using a trauma-informed approach, including EMDR, I support you in naming, feeling, and processing what’s been held beneath the surface. Together, we’ll help you reconnect with yourself, shift patterns, and move toward lasting healing and change.

Many clients come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves, a community, or their life in general, and may find themselves stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. With compassion, curiosity, and support, we can work together to understand these patterns and create space for more intentional ways of living, helping you reconnect with a life that feels like yours. My work focuses on honouring your lived experience while exploring how your inner world, relationships, and the broader systems you exist within shape your wellbeing.

I work with individuals who feel stuck despite insight - often after therapy that has helped, but not fully resolved what lies beneath. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, yet continue to find themselves repeating patterns in relationships, struggling with a persistent sense of disconnection, or feeling that something essential is missing. Together, we look beyond surface-level symptoms to understand the deeper emotional, cognitive, and relational patterns shaping your experience.
