I have availability, get in touch.. We get stuck sometimes, whether through habit or circumstances, emotional, mental, and physical. Sometimes these thoughts become patterns, and we need to work through what's going on. I think a person needs to release these thoughts in our heads. We store them up, and at other times, we listen to things in our heads over and over again and don't speak out about what is going on. We are busy at work and get stuck on personal issues that don't get resolved, as we can get so immersed in maintaining deadlines and work ethos and expectations. It can impact our personal relationships and family lives.

Maybe you have been through a number of changes in the past and somehow they are still impacting you today. Or maybe you have experienced a number of changes in quick succession and everything feels like it is finally catching up, or maybe you are right in the midst of change and uncertainty. At MindFul Space we are here to help support you through all of life's changes. We can greatly improve the quality of our lives by how we approach, live through and integrate life changes. "Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens." Carl Jung

I work with individuals who struggle to feel safe in their human experience. You may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in patterns that no longer serve you. You might be navigating trauma, complex relationships, identity transitions, burnout, chronic stress, chronic illness, or addiction. Certain beliefs, sensations, or past experiences may tether you to pain or disconnection. You are seeking relief, clarity, and greater choice, and want healing that supports liberation, restores connection, and allows you to live with more agency and ease.

People tend to turn to counselling when they feel lost, unsure, or just need someone on their team. They may be seeking a place to feel safe in order to explore and discover who they want to be and what they want to do. It's more than okay to ask for help or support. Counselling allows a space where you don't have to feel alone.

My ideal clients are women who feel overwhelmed by anger—whether they lash out or turn it inward as shame, resentment, or self-criticism. They want to stop damaging relationships they care about and learn to express themselves with clarity and care. Many seek tools to cope with a loved one’s anger. They long for emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, and deeper intimacy. Ultimately, they want to feel proud of how they show up in life and relationships.

Anxiety is one of the most common experiences in our culture, which makes sense given how overstimulated and constantly “on” we are. Phones buzzing, endless information, and fast-paced living. My clients are experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, grief, burnout, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck in patterns like people-pleasing, or self-criticism. People come when coping strategies stop working or life feels too heavy to hold alone. I support clients in slowing down, reconnecting with their body and emotions, and understanding the patterns underneath symptoms so they can feel grounded, self-trusting, and more at ease.

I believe everyone has the ability to restore hope, strength, balance, joy, clarity, and connection to live a meaningful life. At certain points we may need help to recognize our strengths, to accept our choices, to explore our patterns, to understand our experiences, to heal, and to move toward our most fulfilling life.

Reaching out for help is a huge step and can be uncomfortable and I believe that building a trusting and safe environment is essential. I help my clients become empowered and active participants to work through challenges such as loss, grief, life transitions, trauma, low mood, anger, and finding meaning in their lives. My previous career as a teacher and athletic coach as well as my Masters in Counselling Psychology have helped provide me with many different perspectives. I work with individuals ranging from youth to adults of any gender and sexual orientation and I am able to offer both in person and online sessions.

Everyone's story is unique and no therapy session follows a predictable path. Yet the following steps provide a general outline of how your therapy sessions with me may progress. We investigate your particular problem thoroughly, its destructive dramas and dark messages, until we see exactly how it turns up in your day. Just as important, we clarify your core values, hopes, and skills from which emerges a clear direction for your life.
