I have a studio-based practice in Greendale (Chilliwack) BC and also offer sessions online, in clients' homes, or in a private studio space in East Vancouver. I work with children and adults. My person-centred approach to therapy is influenced by attachment theory, systems theory, and over 20 years of experience working with people who have diverse and exceptional needs. After 10 years of teaching art in elementary and high schools, I made the shift to offer adapted art classes as a service provider to families who school from home. I completed a post-grad diploma program in art therapy to better support the families I work with.

Now is the time to begin — even the smallest step can spark meaningful change. Life can sometimes feel heavier than expected. You might find yourself not quite feeling like yourself — your thoughts may be scattered, your emotions more intense, or your relationships more strained. Whether it’s anxiety, parenting stress, or relationship struggles, these challenges can feel isolating. And if you're an immigrant, navigating cultural differences can also be emotionally draining at times.

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety takes over, depression lingers, or ADHD makes daily tasks feel like mountains. You or your child might feel restless, stuck in spirals of self-doubt, or simply exhausted from trying so hard to keep up. Big emotions can show up as irritability, withdrawal, or burnout—and it's tough to explain it all to others. You're doing your best, but it still feels like too much. You want to feel calm, focused, and more like yourself again—but you're not sure where to start.

You don’t have to carry everything on your own. Sometimes the hardest part isn’t just what’s happening around us, but the thoughts and emotions that leave us feeling overwhelmed or unsure of our next steps. In our work together, you can expect a collaborative, non-judgmental space where your story is deeply heard. I aim to help you explore patterns, understand yourself more fully, set meaningful goals, and move toward the life you want with greater clarity and ease.

Welcome, I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can be challenging, and I want to honour the courage it takes to take this first step. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor working with both adults and youth, I strive to create a warm and inviting space where your struggles, hopes, fears, and longings are met with compassion and understanding. Together, we can make sense of your lived experiences. By recognizing the strengths you already possess and identifying patterns that no longer serve you, you can navigate life’s challenges and foster personal growth with greater clarity, confidence, and authenticity.

Depression can feel like moving through waist deep water while everyone else is on dry land. Things that used to matter somehow don’t anymore, and you’re exhausted just trying to keep up. Anxiety is a feeling of worry about what's going to happen in the next moment, this week, or long into the future - and you’re tired of bracing for impact every day. During life transitions, the old version of your life is gone, but the new one hasn't shown up yet. Whatever your current challenge is, even though there are people around you who care, a part of you feels alone in your problems.

Human beings are complicated-so often we attempt to reach out to others using words to express our thoughts, our emotions, and our behaviours. With children/youth, we see additional communication barriers because of fewer words and limited life experiences. Being part of a family system should bring safety and emotional support but sometimes this is not possible without help. My work is to enable us to become partners in the process of change- discovering strengths, new awareness and building on this. Imagine my holding up a mirror for you, so that with each session, you are able to discover and appreciate more of who you truly are.

You’re not just looking for a therapist—you’re looking for someone who gets it. Life can feel heavy. Sometimes it’s the weight of relationships that leave you feeling drained. Other times, it’s anxiety that won’t let go, or the quiet exhaustion of trying to hold everything together—at school, at work, or at home. Maybe you’ve been navigating trauma, depression, anger, or self-harm in silence. You question your identity, belonging, and worth or have concerns related to women's mental wellness. My practice creates a space where your story is honored, and your healing journey supported. At the heart, you want to feel whole again.

People with ADHD are bright, empathetic, and creative. We often struggle with harnessing our uniquely wired brains to fit into a world built for neurotypicals. We know we are capable of so much more, but we're functioning well under that capacity. Examples of the issues we experience include time management, organization, remembering things and motivating ourselves to do things. Other forms of mental illness may accompany our ADHD. However, with some support, we can improve our systems for functioning in ways that are actually fun. We can also improve our intimate relationships, which makes life better all-round.

My therapy approach is relational and collaborative. Feeling comfortable and connected is when therapy is most effective. My goal is to support you to understand yourself and what you need; to come back home to yourself. I tend to work with folks who aren’t feeling satisfied with their quality of life. This may show up as perfectionism, lack of motivation, hyper-independence, people pleasing tendencies, imposter syndrome etc. I have experience working in healthcare, not for profit, and private settings.

Your traumas don’t define you… If you’ve tried different therapies with various therapists and still struggle with the same symptoms, it’s not your fault. You know the skills, the techniques, yet you’re still easily triggered, and stress feels unmanageable. That’s because your brain is holding onto past trauma, constantly reminding you of what happened, making you feel unsafe. Anxiety becomes your brain’s way of protecting you from these feelings.
