I have availability, get in touch.. We get stuck sometimes, whether through habit or circumstances, emotional, mental, and physical. Sometimes these thoughts become patterns, and we need to work through what's going on. I think a person needs to release these thoughts in our heads. We store them up, and at other times, we listen to things in our heads over and over again and don't speak out about what is going on. We are busy at work and get stuck on personal issues that don't get resolved, as we can get so immersed in maintaining deadlines and work ethos and expectations. It can impact our personal relationships and family lives.

Do you feel STUCK? When we feel stuck we start to question our life’s purpose and often start to doubt past and future decisions. Feeling stuck can often lead to confusion, hopelessness, fear, paralysis and lack of motivation. These experiences can generally cause anxiety, panic, depression and generally a low quality of life. Although these feelings can be incredibly painful and may lead you to feel helpless, it’s important to remind yourself that with the right support, you can change your life.

I believe everyone is unique in their healing journey, sometimes all we need is to be listened and seen. Whether something is deeply troubling or you seek connection it is important to have that need met. My hope for you is that through our journey together you gain confidence in who you are, that you can find yourself closer to your higher self. Everyone’s healing journey runs at different paces, and I will meet you where you are and walk the road together. If you need to step back, you will, if you need to move forward, you will–your sessions are a time you can dedicate to yourself.

Welcome, and so glad you are here! Hopefully sharing a little bit about me and how I work can help in determining whether my approach might be a good fit for you. I am a queer and neurodivergent ON and BC Registered Social Worker, and have experience in providing counselling support in a variety of community-based settings. I use an anti-oppressive and intersectional feminist lens in my work and strive to create affirming spaces that acknowledge the impacts of structural inequities and social injustice. I take an eclectic approach in blending a variety of evidence-based modalities to figure out what most aligns with you.

I work with primarily neurodivergent and/or queer people (of all ages, genders, identities) who want to pause, explore and reconnect. Societal expectations of how we should act and navigate the world can be exhausting. It can be hard to feel safe enough to reconnect with our inner selves, fearlessly use art materials, explore difficult topics, and live authentically. No art making experience needed. Everyone can make art.

I have 14 years of experience in clinical psychology with the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - CBT approach. And 9 years ago I also adopted the use of Mindfulness in my clinical practice. I specialize in working with Type C personalities—those who are conscientious, competent, and self-controlled. These individuals are dedicated workers who genuinely care about others and strive to do "what's right". Guided by strong internal values, they often push themselves, believing they can always "do more". While they take pride in being dependable and reliable, this tendency can create difficulties in relationships, making it hard for them to open up. This internal pressure can lead to burnout, feelings of loneliness and isolation, dissatisfaction, and even chronic pain.
