I have been in private practice for 20 years, and in the mental health field for almost 40 years. My practice draws self-referring, high-functioning adults. couples and families with addiction, anxiety, depression and attachment disorders affecting their lives beyond their historical, current or perceived ability of self-control. In couples, I usually begin individually to create safety and self-awareness, then re-convene targeting clear self-advocacy, expression and truthful communication. EMDR in the couple context can clear a lot of old trauma and wounded pattern-associations that mire us in destructive relational dynamics.

We live in uncertain times. Many of us weren’t prepared for the amount of change that is happening rapidly on the planet at this time. You may be experiencing feelings of anxiety, depression, or despair. You are not alone! You may also find yourself more sensitive and open to your environment in ways that are new to you. Not unlike during the pandemic, many of our personal, ancestral and collective traumas are being unearthed-so that they can be looked at and healed. Therapy that goes beyond traditional "talk therapy" and addresses these issues in depth can support you in navigating these times.

You have made it work for a long time. You've done all the things you know you "should" do. You've followed the rules, or maybe even tried breaking the rules. You've read self-help books or asked friends for advice - none of it really seems to help. You feel as though something is missing from the picture, but it seems just beyond your reach. Believe it or not, you are not alone. Feeling lost like this is extremely painful, and the loneliness can make it nearly unbearable. It takes great courage to admit to yourself that you may need help to look deeper. Working with a depth psychotherapist can be the first step.

Life is full of contradictions: We can have close relationships yet still feel isolated, have the desire for change but feel attached to the past, and have the hunger to live creatively with the need for stability. As human beings, relationships are central to our lives. Painful patterns and repetitions can exist within our own internal relationship and with others. This can lead to symptoms of anxiety, depression, or lowered self-esteem. My passion is to provide an honest, inviting and collaborative therapeutic space to explore and work through these inner conflicts.

I work with concerns related to relationship dynamics, codependency, sexuality and intimacy, desire and pleasure, boundaries, anxiety, self-discovery, and the impact of sexual and relational trauma. Much of my work sits at the intersection of sexuality and attachment, exploring how early relational patterns, nervous system responses, and learned strategies shape intimacy, desire, and self-trust. I take a feminist, shame-informed approach to sexuality, supporting clients in reconnecting with erotic self-connection, agency, and choice at a pace that feels safe and grounded.

You know what you want. You keep doing the opposite. You've done the reading, noticed the pattern, and yet there you are again, pulling away when someone gets close, repeating the argument you swore you wouldn't have, returning to the habit you wanted to leave. That gap between knowing and doing is rarely a discipline problem. It usually means different parts of you want different things. I work with self-aware adults and couples who are tired of insight that doesn't translate. Together we slow things down, look at what these patterns are protecting, and build a different relationship with them.

15 years in full time practice, & 6 years as a peer counselling volunteer. A combined 21 years of experience. Since beginning in practice I have logged over 14000+ direct client hours. In that time I have helped a number of individuals, and couples overcome obstacles to their health and well-being. I offer a collaborative, psycho-educational, research based treatment strategy to clients whom are challenged in multiple areas of functioning. Therapeutic progress, change readiness are seem as dependant on a number of variables, and in my experience are extremely qualitative (individually dependant); so no 1 size fits all!

You are done with therapy that stops at the surface. You are seeking a spiritual therapist who understands that real healing lives in the Soul. You work with astrology, numerology, tarot, and crystals as sacred tools for self-understanding. You carry ancestral wounds, intergenerational trauma, and inner child pain ready to heal. You feel the weight of isolation — too awake, too sensitive, too deep for the world around you. In our work together we integrate spiritual wisdom with clinical therapy, following the thread of synchronicity, dream interpretation, and divine guidance back to your truth.

Your symptoms are purpose-driven - and by leaning into your your mind, body and soul, relational and work challenges, you can live into a deeper, more genuine life. By leaning into life's symptoms with fierce gentleness - whether that be anxiety, depression, cancer, angst, relationship issues, bankruptcy, etc - you will come to understand and awaken the life you are meant to be living. Because what comes to us belongs to us, we need to befriend these resistances in our lives. Then, quite naturally, the joy and aliveness of our true nature surfaces, our relationships begin to organically thrive and our meaningful work is accessed

I draw from various theoretical lenses and philosophies, including Existential, Adlerian, Internal Family Systems, Jungian/Dreamwork, Feminist Theory, Gottman Couples Therapy, CBT, EMDR, and Attachment-based Therapy.
Welcome to my practice. I believe that every person has the capacity for change. Counselling helps us unearth our internal compass, also called our inner intelligence, intuition, or higher self, so that we can relearn how to trust ourselves again. This is important work. Together, I will help you develop your capacity to respond to life's circumstances and manage the discomfort that you are experiencing. Our pain, anxiety, sadness, love, and joy all have important information for us. They can reveal what is required of us to heal, grow, and even thrive.

I work with mothers who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from themselves after having a child. Many are navigating burnout, identity shifts, or challenges with intimacy and relationships. They often come to therapy feeling stuck, exhausted, and unsure how to move forward. My team provides a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can better understand their experiences, develop practical tools, and reconnect with themselves—so they can feel more grounded, confident, and present in their lives and relationships.

Jungian Counsellors
How does Jungian therapy work?
Jungian therapy, also called analytical psychology, focuses on a patient’s inner experiences and unconscious mind. Exploring a person’s unconscious mind can be achieved through several means, including the analysis of memories and dreams, and through physical exercises, such as art, dance, and word association.

How long does Jungian therapy last?
Jungian therapy is an intensive treatment type. Because its goal is to understand a person as a whole, including the unconscious aspects of them, treatment can range from months to years. Since patients learn the theory behind Jungian therapy during treatment, they can also practice its tenets throughout life after therapy sessions have completed.

Is Jungian therapy effective?
According to studies, many patients find success with Jungian therapy, and the century-old treatment has a devoted following. Researchers note that the therapy is particularly useful in improving relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Improvements in problem areas seem to continue even after the end of Jungian therapy, as people are able to continue working on themselves using the tools they’ve learned during the treatment.

Is Jungian therapy evidence-based?
Jungian therapy is theory-based, derived from the theories of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist often called one of the fathers of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. Jung developed his theories from observing the problems of patients, and developed many theories of how the mind works. Subsequent psychological research has determined that Jungian therapy can lead to significant improvement in most patients.
