Welcome,
My name is Shantelle Alexandra. In my previous life, I worked as a preschool teacher. My background working with children has provided me with valuable insights into human development and the significance of early experiences in shaping our lives. This foundation has informed my approach to therapy, particularly in understanding how trauma can impact us from an early age and continue into adulthood.

Trauma can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected. Many people I work with feel flooded by emotions like guilt, shame, or fear — or sometimes struggle to feel anything at all, feeling detached from themselves and those around them. Traumatic memories don’t always stay in the past. Triggers can bring back emotions, images, and beliefs so vividly that it feels like the event is happening all over again, leaving you with a persistent sense of danger or distrust.

Hi! I’m Lauren (she/her). I’m here to help you heal, grow and thrive by tapping into the inner knowing and wisdom of your body and heart, and by encouraging you to step into your power and truth. The clients who seek me out are often on journeys of self discovery or facing life transitions that open up questions and possibilities about who they are, what matters most to them, and how they want to live. I was called to this work through my personal journey of owning my unique path in life, despite it being different than the societal expectations that I grew up with.
