Struggling to trust others or repeating painful relationship patterns? I support adults in healing past relationship wounds, understanding and expressing their emotions, and developing a deeper understanding of themselves so they can build secure, fulfilling connections. What we resist tends to persist, which is why turning toward our feelings, rather than away from them, can be so helpful. Together, we’ll explore how past experiences shape your present patterns and emotions, helping you relate more authentically. Through my own healing journey, I’ve learned the importance of a welcoming, non-judgmental space to express yourself.

Currently FULL / no new clients. Psychotherapist and Teaching Faculty, mentoring students at his clinical practice. His statement: "Mental health support, especially in Asia, is still clouded by stigma today. I am here to ensure that you get the best care for your mental health in a safe and confidential environment. It's not easy deciding to take the first step forward, but know that by just picking up the phone and booking a time with my reception staff, you have already taken that first step. Put down the phone after you've called us and give yourself a pat on the back; that was your first step toward your desired lifestyle."

I have graduated in Psychology for 14 years and have a postgraduate degree in school psychology. In Brazil I am a psychologist and here in Canada I am a counselor. I have 14 years of experience in clinical psychology with the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - CBT approach. And 9 years ago I also adopted the use of Mindfulness in my clinical practice. It's very rewarding and I really love seeing the evolution and improvement of people who seek therapy, it's a victory to see them growing and developing.

There are times when we just don’t feel like ourselves. For some of us, this means feeling overwhelmed by our thoughts and emotions, while for others the disconnect can come from feeling nothing at all. This internal “ickiness” can show up through our emotions, thoughts, or in our body, and is often a scary, confusing, and unsettling experience. This intuitive feeling is typically caused by misalignment; whether it’s having conflict within ourselves, feeling out of step with those close to us, or feeling out of place in the world around us.

You have likely felt stuck, finding it difficult to understand why you keep falling to similar routines, negative relationships, or are simply tired of ‘remaining the same.’ You may have also tried therapy before and felt it hasn’t helped enough; you may feel like you want more, in exploring and understanding yourself.

As a therapist, I strive for you to feel held: to feel cared for and understood, with the assurance that I am fiercely present and always in your corner. Above all, my goal is for you to cultivate a grounding sense of safety in relationship. When you feel seen, heard and valued for who you are, you can begin to explore the full spectrum of your humanity, and discover new possibilities of being. I take pride in transcending formulaic therapeutic approaches and oppressive cultural values with humour, playfulness, and irreverence. Our work together will be creative, evidence-based, and deeply relational.

I have worked extensively with those experiencing suicidal ideation, spiritual emergencies, disordered eating, general/acute anxiety and survivors of sexualized violence.
The soul calls to us in many ways. Sometimes, the call to move inward comes in the form of a crisis. Life may feel destabilized, old patterns may be breaking, and a sense of urgency or confusion can arise. A crisis may reveal itself as significant relationship challenge, great loss, suicidal thoughts, loss of meaning, persistent anxiety, addiction, or simply an uncomfortable tug that persists no matter our efforts. These experiences are the psyches invitation into deeper awareness, transformation, and wholeness. My work offers a space to explore, attune, and integrate the deeper truths within you.

Hi and welcome! It is my mission to support people in a safe, non-judgmental space on their journey toward a life full of harmony, freedom and meaning. My experience has taught me that genuine presence, validation, open communication and even the smallest steps toward healing can help your growth. My clinical psychology training allowed me to acquire CBT-based, psychodynamic, family-oriented and person-centered methods, as well as several indirect techniques (e.g. symbolic, relaxation, imaginative and more), which I have used in my practice to help individuals and couples with a wide range of mental health concerns.

To paraphrase the great actress Kerry Washington: Having a counsellor is like having a personal trainer for your mind. Personal trainers help you keep your body healthy. Counsellors help you keep your mind healthy. If you feel as though you are putting on a daily performance for yourself and others, acting at having it together, or just faking it to make it, therapy is a place to take the mask off. So, come as you are. There is nothing you can’t be and can’t feel in our sessions together.

The human experience can be both joyful and challenging. I work with clients who are asking the big existential questions. Why am I here? What is the purpose of my life? You want to feel connected to yourself, your loved ones, and the world, yet you don't feel a sense of belonging. My clients typically seek therapy to find relief from anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma and other life challenges. I work primarily with Asian women and women of colour to support healing around cultural identity, family dynamics, racial stress, and self-worth. My approach is relational, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed.
