I'll be honoured to help you embrace and speak about your grief , let bullies deal with their own troubles, come to terms with unresolved issues, transition in life, and find your true authentic self.
Hey you! I just want you to know that you have the right to be here, to express and talk about your emotions, and to become who you really are. Yes, in my previous career I too have been a victim of bullies at work. But it always stayed beneath the surface until I lost my beloved pets whom always given me strength, unconditional love and loyalty. I felt lonely, stuck and helpless. My 'non-judgmental' crew had left me. That's where I realized that I needed connect with my authentic self and learn to deal with the grief ...and work on the emotional wounds bullies have left me with years ago.

If you're struggling with your sense of self-worth, or going through a tough loss or transition, you may want some support. I'd welcome the chance to work along side you. Finding the right fit with a therapist is really important for counselling to be helpful. It should be with someone who really understands what is happening for you, someone professionally qualified to help, and someone who you feel comfortable talking to. Therapy involves effort. The good news is that you won’t be doing it alone. The alliance between us means that I'll be there to support you, ready to work with you while you create your path forward.

I help clients with anxiety, depression, and those experiencing personal and collective grief and loss , including those who experience self-esteem and self-worth doubts, existential concerns and those searching for a purpose in their lives.
You are asking the big existential questions. Why am I here? Perhaps you keep looking to self-help books and always taking the next seminar or online course - always looking for the answers outside yourself. You want to feel connected to yourself, your loved ones, and the world around you, yet you feel like you don't belong. You feel loss and grief and are searching for purpose but are living with depression and anxiety and questioning your self-worth.

I imagine you might be struggling in some way at the moment. Maybe things are not the way you thought they would be. Maybe you imagined your life would have turned out differently. Perhaps you have had some painful life experiences that are feeling difficult to heal. Our grief and loss are exactly that and need to be honoured. What I do believe is if we allow space for our emotions and give the pain the attention it needs, we can experience some relief from that pain and find where the light can seep in. We then can build a life full of meaning and happiness.

If you’re here, you might be used to feeling alone with your problems, managing with strategies that don’t really address the underlying issues; or maybe you’re experiencing a period of loss or change, where old ways of doing things keep you stuck.
Many of my clients are thoughtful, caring people, who know how to be compassionate to those around them, but struggle to apply that same care towards themselves. Perhaps they learned at a young age how to be strong for others, but not how to be vulnerable, to feel their feelings, slow down, and think about their own needs. It might be a very new experience to let someone in to see their struggles. I love to work with people who have big inner lives - creative folks, either those who have an artistic practice themselves, or who see the world through music, movies and books and love to get lost in other worlds.

Life can sometimes darken our hearts and make things feel difficult or even hopeless, as if there is no way out. You may battle with anxiety, depression, perfectionism or low self-worth while a strong inner critic berates you every step of the way. Perhaps you feel pulled in different directions, while feeling as though you are losing control over your life - at a loss to know where to start in order to break the negative cycles you find yourself trapped in. Amidst all this, relationships may suffer, not only with others, but also with yourself as you strive to find who you really are amongst all the chatter and chaos of your mind.

I strive to facilitate the personal growth and healing in a non-directive way, in a manner that is empathetic, warm, and accepting. I see children as an essential component of a healthy family dynamic and strive to help them through their problems, anxieties, fears, and uncertainties by way of play, art, and sandplay therapy techniques.

Connecting to your inner wisdom, building new skills, and identifying forgotten strengths and values, can support individuals dealing with anxiety, overwhelm, grief and trauma, as well as those wishing to take the next step towards their goals.
Hi, I’m Nicole. I live in the beautiful Sea to Sky corridor & accept online clients throughout BC. I believe that through therapy all people have the opportunity to learn and understand themselves on a deeper level. With this inner exploration one can experience more understanding, self compassion, and open space for more joy in life – starting today. Therapy can support clients to explore personal patterns that may no longer be serving them. Together clients and therapists work to safely let go of those patterns while building supportive resources, discovering new skills, and creating a personalized tool kit to move forward with.

Grief Counsellors
Grief and Bereavement is the acute pain that accompanies loss. Because it is a reflection of what we love, it can feel all-encompassing. Grief is not limited to the loss of people, but when it follows the loss of a loved one, it may be compounded by feelings of guilt and confusion, especially if the relationship was a difficult one.
