My approach blends neuro-affirming, trauma - sensitive, compassionate present moment awareness, somatic parts work & depth psychology.
Beyond the words, beyond our personal/transpersonal stories we carry, our individual, collective and ancestral experiences encoded in our patterning. This is why experiential therapies are so effective, especially when healing from complex & early trauma. To remember your wholeness is to heal. There is a deep wisdom to tap into to support that re-membering.

As a somatic therapist, the heart of my work honours the body-mind connection and focuses on bridging the gap between your thoughts, feelings, and body.
Sessions are spent balancing the nervous system, gathering tools for self-expression, and creating space for self-compassion. Working with all of your “little parts" to rebuild your relationship to self. I offer support through a trauma-informed, holistic, and attachment-focused lens, integrating somatic therapy, parts work, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.

My main therapeutic modality is Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), it is a combination of attachment-based relational work (with you and me as the model), with somatic emotional experiencing.
You are a deep thinker, a seeker of truth, and you yearn for a life filled with meaning and authenticity. Whether you're exploring your sexual identity, navigating complex relationships, or seeking to understand your emotional patterns, you’ve likely felt the tension between your desires and the limitations placed on you by unconscious drives or societal expectations. You’re ready to break free from these constraints and live your fullest, most liberated life.

If the experience of trauma or grief is still with you, despite talk therapy, a somatic approach could help.
I have advanced training in Somatic Experiencing (SEP), a trauma therapy that equips us to work with trauma and the nervous system. In contrast to talk therapy, Somatic Experiencing allows us to address stuck patterns and responses in a way that changes our nervous system and capacity.

You've been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and disconnected from yourself, unsure how to move forward. I support women in slowing down, understanding what's beneath the overwhelm, and reconnecting with themselves.

How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
