I’m so glad you are here. New Clients are welcome, both young and old (individuals, couples, families). Let’s talk about how therapy helps. There are so many ways we can feel better, we just need to take one step. Reaching out is the first, and often clients feel better after the first session. There are no waitlists for new clients, when you are ready to begin, we begin. Every moment is an opportunity to feel better, but sometimes we lose hope and stop trying. I encourage self love and self-compassion with playfulness and creativity. “Love has the intense ability to heal the wounds from the blows that life gives us.” Sue Johnson

You feel stuck. Your nervous system is in overdrive, and no matter what you try—self-care, distractions, pushing through—it feels like something keeps pulling you back.
Maybe it’s anxiety, trauma, or depression that won’t loosen its grip. Perhaps you feel numb, disconnected, or constantly on edge. If your strategies haven't worked, it’s not because you’re not trying hard enough, it’s because your nervous system needs a different approach.

Hey, life can feel really hard at times, I know. I really do. And although you're inherently wise and strong, you don't have to do it alone. We're stronger—and life is richer—in connection to ourselves and others. If relationships feel challenging or impossible; you're going through a life change, be it palpable or the kind you can't quite put your finger on; or life just doesn't feel like you thought or imagined it would... I'm so glad you're here. It would be my honour to work with you to see how we can bring you in alignment with the goals and dreams you have for your life!

Reaching out for support can feel intimidating (and honestly, a bit overwhelming). A compassionate, supportive therapeutic relationship can make that first step feel less heavy.
I’m a counsellor with a deep curiosity about the human experience and a genuine respect for each person’s unique story — no two are the same, and I don’t believe they should be treated that way.
I take a collaborative approach, working alongside you rather than “fixing” you, to support a life that feels aligned with who you truly are. I support individuals in building lives that reflect balance, meaning, and purpose.

Meaningful relationships are everything to me and a big part of why I became a therapist. When we feel safe, heard, and understood, we can work through challenging emotions and feel more connected to the different parts of ourselves.

When life feels like a series of fires to put out, finding your own path can feel impossible. Together, we will look at the patterns, lower the noise, and help you return to yourself...
Through the lens of Bowen Family Systems Theory, I invite clients to get curious about the family patterns that shape their struggles. In a calm, reflective space, we slow down, grow awareness, and build the clarity and resilience needed to respond to life with greater freedom and intention.

I believe that every client is unique and an expert in themselves. Sometimes, however, circumstances or events feel overwhelming and intrude on our ability to live the life we want. Having a person to support us on our journey to healing is necessary to feel capable of processing and transforming.

Does it matter what gender my therapist is?
In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.
Should I see a female therapist?
Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.
Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?
Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.
How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?
It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
