Lasting change doesn't come from trying harder. It comes from changing the conditions that keep old patterns alive. Many people arrive here after sincerely trying to live well: building insight, practicing mindfulness, following good advice, and doing what should help, and yet, the same cycles return. You’re not looking for quick fixes. You’re seeking calm that settles in the body, clarity that feels authentic, and change that reaches beyond the mind.

It’s common to get used to holding a lot on your own—especially when you’re used to being the one others rely on. Eventually, that can start to feel overwhelming or hard to untangle. In our work together, I focus on creating a space where you don’t have to carry it alone, and where we can sort through what’s been coming up in a way that feels real and manageable.

Currently welcoming new clients. You’ve spent a lifetime carrying more than others see. You've often felt deeply unseen and unsupported, where your struggles were dismissed by those around you. Despite your best efforts, you still find yourself spiralling in guilt and shame that continues to follow you in unhelpful moments. I understand the need for reliable and emotionally-safe support to turn to. Each of us deserves to be seen, heard, and less alone. I’m here as a steady, soulful presence to support you in feeling more connected to yourself and the changes you’re longing for.

“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” – Rumi Therapy, at its best, is a space for healing, discovery, and meaning-making. As a humanistic and existentially oriented therapist, I believe every individual holds an innate drive toward growth—even amidst pain. I’m here to walk alongside you, not to “fix” you, but to witness, support, and gently guide you back to your own inner truth. I work with children, youth, and adults, many of whom are navigating the challenges of cultural identity, emotional overwhelm, intergenerational trauma, or difficult life transitions.

Most of my clients are wired a little differently, and the work fits the wiring. I see neurodivergent adults and youth: the ADHD engineer who can build anything except a morning routine, the creative whose best ideas arrive at 2am while the paperwork never arrives at all, the parent trying to decode a kid who doesn't run on the standard operating system. Therapy with me is practical. We figure out how your particular brain actually works, then build strategies around it instead of forcing it into shapes that never fit. The goal: less overwhelm, more traction, and a daily life that feels like yours.

Do you feel like you are silently carrying a pain that others seem unable to understand? Not all pain is openly acknowledged. Whether it is the death of a loved one or a pet, a life-altering change in health, recovery from a motor vehicle accident (ICBC), or the end of a relationship—these unseen losses carry a crushing weight. When your internal gears silently jam, the loneliness can be overwhelming. Please know that your pain is real, and it deserves to be honoured.

Congratulations on seeking counselling. You might currently be in a dark spot and hesitant to seek help. Rest assured that you are not alone in this. It takes courage to seek help and you are on your way there. I have been in your spot before and my healing journey guided me to help others overcome complex trauma. You don't need to be controlled by your past anymore. A common goal would be to reach your full potentials and be your authentic self again, you will feel lighter after processing the past and more in control of your future. Allow us to collaboratively create a non-judgmental space and move to a healthier future.

In summary, there are three phases that overlap in our approach to psychotherapy: 1-Exploration of past (life story), current life situation and determination of intentions for the future; 2-Awareness of personality dynamics, inner dialogue and beliefs related to self, others and the world; 3-Integration and development of tools to practice new ways of being, feeling, doing and relating to environment.

Difficult life experiences can gradually pull us away from who we are. We may find ourselves lost in repeating unhelpful patterns, abandoning our own needs, struggling with anxiety or self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from ourselves and the people we love. I work with individuals and couples who are seeking meaningful, lasting change. Together, we explore and shift the emotions, beliefs, and relational patterns that keep you stuck in survival mode, creating space for greater self-trust, emotional regulation, resilience, authentic connection, and a life that feels more grounded and aligned.

I feel like I was born in the construction trades. At a young age I worked at height (Rope Access), in remote areas, and in all environments. I wanted the skills to respond to any emergency at any time, this desire lead me to pre-hospital emergency medicine (EMR), wilderness first-aid, and rope rescue training. My work and personal experiences from this time left me feeling isolated, dreading human interactions, and losing my love of learning and mastering new skills. It was this experience that compelled me to address my own mental health and further lead me to complete a Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology.
