Do you feel lost, burnt out, or that you're barely surviving and can't catch a break?
I support clients through the messy and complicated periods of life. As humans we face all sorts of challenges - from your relationships dynamics or mood (like anxiety or depression), trauma from the past that keeps getting in your way, or just general "life" (like parenting, finances, health conditions). Therapy is the space to get some support, learn some tools and find some insight on the patterns which will help meaningful shifts in your life from surviving to thriving.

Whether you're navigating a deep loss, struggling with overwhelming thoughts and emotions, or facing a major life change, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and understanding.
My approach is rooted in trauma theory and informed by attachment-based, emotionally focused, and somatic practices. This means we don’t just talk about what’s happening, we tune in to how it shows up in the body, relationships, and emotional landscape. I mainly draw from modalities such as EFT, IFS, and body-oriented (somatic).

If you are anxious, grieving, addicted, or struggling, life can seem impossible.
I’m so glad you are here. New Clients are welcome, both young and old (individuals, couples, families). Let’s talk about how therapy helps. There are so many ways we can feel better, we just need to take one step. Reaching out is the first, and often clients feel better after the first session. There are no waitlists for new clients, when you are ready to begin, we begin. Every moment is an opportunity to feel better, but sometimes we lose hope and stop trying. I encourage self love and self-compassion with playfulness and creativity. “Love has the intense ability to heal the wounds from the blows that life gives us.” Sue Johnson

Reaching out for support can feel intimidating (and honestly, a bit overwhelming). A compassionate, supportive therapeutic relationship can make that first step feel less heavy.
I’m a counsellor with a deep curiosity about the human experience and a genuine respect for each person’s unique story — no two are the same, and I don’t believe they should be treated that way.
I take a collaborative approach, working alongside you rather than “fixing” you, to support a life that feels aligned with who you truly are. I support individuals in building lives that reflect balance, meaning, and purpose.

I offer a non-judgemental space to explore the questions that may be arising, and moving through the grief that accompanies change.
My relational approach draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and art therapy. Overtime, we can explore the many puzzle pieces of your life that have lead you to who you are today. We build awareness and self-compassion around who you are and what motivates you, so that you can feel clear about your path forward.

How long does therapy take for grief?
There is no exact timeline for grief counseling. Some people may start to feel better after just a few sessions, while others may take months or longer to feel relief. Some specific approaches, including some types of CBT, may involve a set number of sessions, or therapy may be open-ended until the patient determines they are ready to wrap up. Just as there is no right or wrong way to grieve, there is no right or wrong way to seek therapy for grief.
When should you seek therapy for grief?
Many people mistakenly believe that their grief needs to be debilitating or all-encompassing to warrant therapy. This is not the case. While people who experience severe, prolonged grief—particularly those who are considering self-harm or engaging in unhealthy substance use—are especially likely to benefit from therapy, so too are people whose grief is less intense but still interfering with well-being or daily functioning. In practice, almost anyone struggling to process a loss could benefit from grief counseling.
Can grief be managed without therapy?
Oftentimes, yes. Grief is a near-universal part of being human, and many find that their grief, while profound, does not stop them from participating in day-to-day life and steadily eases over time without outside help. For others, however, the harsh pain of early grief persists for months or years or leaves them unable to function. This group is especially likely to benefit from seeing a therapist, who can guide them through their grief and help them reconnect with the world.
What happens if grief is left untreated?
Because grief does not in itself necessitate therapy, untreated grief will often resolve on its own. However, for some people—particularly those who would qualify for a diagnosis of prolonged grief disorder—untreated grief can be a source of seemingly endless pain or lead them to withdraw from the world. In such cases, treatment can be indispensable, as it can help an individual adapt to the loss and start living again.
