It can be a series of relational or attachment wounds experienced in childhood, leading to self-esteem issues, problems asserting boundaries and people-pleasing behaviours. I practice from a psychodynamic, trauma-informed perspective using talk therapy and EMDR. I believe strongly in creating a safe, compassionate space to help people access emotions and safely examine the parts of themselves that are causing pain, challenges, and difficulty.
