Often, traumatic experiences cause our nervous systems to go into survival mode: a fight, flight or freeze response. When these traumatic events are not processed, they become locked in short term memory. These memories can be triggered even years later, causing a reliving of the initial trauma. Processing those traumas holistically can provide real freedom.
