We were never meant to be so in our lives. It's a big reason why so many of us are feeling anxious and depressed. We're worried about our future, and can't enjoy the present. Nonjudgmental acceptance and support for another person's true self, regardless of their words or actions, supports growth. It's about valuing the person's inherent worth, not necessarily approving of every behaviour, and creating a safe space for authenticity by separating thoughts from actions.
