Therapists in B0J
I am a queer, neurodivergent therapist who supports people healing from trauma and learning to feel more at home in their bodies. You may be struggling with anxiety, flashbacks, or feeling disconnected from yourself and the things you once enjoyed. Maybe you are curious if your stress, chronic pain, or depression is linked to past experiences. Trauma can leave deep marks, but it does not have to define your life and healing is absolutely possible. I use an integrative, trauma-centered approach to help with your unique needs and attachment style, honoring the mind-body connection, your feeling of safety and your systems' capacity.

I specialize in helping people who are struggling in their relationships. A lot of times, people feel hopeless, worried that they have tried everything to fix it. It seems like the other person doesn't get them, doesn't try or care anymore. They have the same fight over and over again, or have stopped fighting all together, feeling like there is no point. My work focuses on addressing the symptoms like stonewalling and criticizing before going deeper to the root cause: attachment wounds. Humans are wired to be in relationship and when this most crucial link is threatened, it is one of the most painful things we can experience.

You may not show it, but you feel stuck. Your anxiety and fears prevent you from taking steps forward. Instead, you find yourself procrastinating and avoiding. You are consumed by doubt and overwhelmed by worry and unwanted, intrusive, uncontrollable thoughts. You try hard to avoid those thoughts, but they keep coming back. The more you fight them, the stickier they become. You try to tell yourself that the thoughts are meaningless, but somehow you feel you can never be sure. What if after all, something horrible will happen? What if the thoughts mean something important? Your friends and family keep telling you not to worry and explain that everything is just in your head. This reassurance helps for a bit, but very soon you are back to endless "What if? " questions. You tried therapy before. The therapist tried to convince you that what you fear is unlikely to happen and taught you relaxation, breathing, meditation, and thought records. But it didn't help and made you even more hopeless. You'd like to break free from your worries and fears and start living your life. If you are reading this profile, you may be finally considering making a significant change. We are here to help!
