I believe that each of us is capable of much more than we are aware, and that being seen and supported can shine light on the innate wisdom and strength within. As your therapist, some of the themes I will explore with you are attachment patterns, automatic thoughts, self-limiting beliefs, and emotional regulation. I use an integrative approach pulling from Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory. My practice is inclusive and person-centered - you are the expert in your own life and I value and respect the unique experience and wisdom you bring.
My goal as your therapist is to support the widening of your window of tolerance, so that you can embody the resilience you already possess. By understanding the adaptive strategies which have helped to keep you safe, we work together to use cognitive, emotional, and somatic techniques to widen the window. Trained and certified with Safe and Sound Protocol.
I warmly welcome gender diverse, queer, and neurodivergent folks with a nonjudgmental approach that recognises the uniqueness of your story. You can expect a feminist, sex positive, and cultural safety focused approach from me, and I continuously welcome your feedback as I believe I have as much to learn from you as you do from me.
