Internal Family Systems (IFS) is the primary therapeutic model that we use. Our goal is to assist people to release the burdens that they carry and to foster access to their deeper Selves. We have experience working with individual's and couples with a vast array of Mental Health, Emotional, and Relational concerns. Often the people we see carry; anxiety, depression, complex trauma, PTSD, substance use, OCD, and relational stress, amongst others. My partner is an RCC and she also uses IFS and has experience treating complex trauma. Full details can be found on our website.
IFS therapy is based upon the idea that every person has multiple sub-personalities which can be in conflict with each other. This can lead to problematic habits and behaviors. The goal of IFS therapy is to help people identify and accept the different parts of themselves and heal the parts that are wounded. (Forbes Health, Sept. 04, 2023)
