I work with survivors of abuse and violence, and people who feel overwhelmed and want to reconnect with their bodies and values, and live a meaningful, empowering life. It is human to struggle - whether it be with powerful emotions, strained relationships, confusing thoughts, or anything else under the sun. I am a queer disabled therapist who supports adults of all ages, abilities, and identities. If you are looking for a safe relationship in which to explore and understand yourself and the world around you, I might be a good fit for your needs.
My work is collaborative, and I ask questions and provide gentle prompts that orient you to your thoughts, feelings, body, and spirit. I draw from somatic and creative techniques including movement and art to help your understand the parts of yourself that are beyond language. My work aligns with anti-oppressive values that honour your lived experience.
Like I always tell my clients, showing up is the hardest part. Take a moment to celebrate the fact that you're even here, contemplating therapy! I would love the opportunity to celebrate with you. You are warmly welcomed to reach out with any questions, concerns, or other musings. Check my website for more and to contact me!
