Hello, and thank you for visiting my page and considering working together with me in your mental health journey! My name is Aubrey and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I grew up in the Niagara region of Ontario and currently live in Ottawa. I have worked with a variety of organizations such as those supporting Young Caregivers, individuals experiencing homelessness, individuals with trauma, and individuals experiencing mental health crises. These experiences have contributed to my person-centred, holistic, and trauma-informed approach that I bring to the therapeutic environment.
I utilize aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Strength-based, Solution-Focused, and Attachment-based approaches. I have received training in the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment model (created, and rights belonging to, Lori Gill), as well as training in Direct Neurofeedback.
I recognize the importance of working together to understand a treatment plan that considers your individual needs, and builds towards goals of what positive well-being looks like for you.
