I believe when we feel understood, validated, and supported…we heal. This is what psychotherapy is intended to do. My style is gentle and compassionate. I am an encourager by nature, so can help you identify & build on what you already do well. I am also sensitive by nature and there’s a good chance you are as well (it’s a genetic trait called "Highly Sensitive Person" that shows up in about 20% of the population & about 50% of therapy clients).
Building trusting relationships is one of my strengths. You can expect me to listen deeply, and I am drawn to doing deep work with people. I can help you with: getting comfortable with strong emotions, understanding your needs and wants, setting boundaries for healthy relationships, and processing difficult & traumatic experiences.
I blend somatic interventions (listening to the wisdom of the body) with traditional talk-therapy interventions (listening to the wisdom of the mind), according to what you need/want and find helpful. If what you’ve read resonates with you, feel free to contact me for a consultation (no charge) to see if we would be a good fit for your healing journey.
