If you are struggling with stress of any kind ie. work stress, family stress, relationship or personal stress or simply trying to cope with the overwhelming demands of modern life, please feel free to give me a call. I have 20 years experience treating Depression, Anxiety, Burnout, Addictions and Trauma of all kinds. I also provide family and couples counselling. In addition to offering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused interventions, I teach Mindful Self Compassion and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction to all my clients, including older children and teens.
My approach is client centered and seeks to empower and enrich the inner experience of everyone I sit with. I believe that becoming more mindful (present moment awareness without judgement) of our own thinking, feeling and behavior, allows us to make wiser decisions. I focus on self-care and self compassion.
In addition to being a Registered Clinical Counsellor with extensive training and experience in Couple and Family Therapy, I am also a Registered Art Therapist. As such, I have provided Creative Expression to adult trauma survivors specifically, and to others who simply wish to explore their own creative potential.
